Dear Gavriil Kharitonovich!
Dear members of the International Union of Economists!
On behalf of the people living in the Republic of Kazakhstan and me personally, let me extend my cordial congratulations on the occasion of the 25th anniversary of the International Union of Economists (IUE)!
25th anniversary is a very important milestone. The International Union of Economists has approached it as an independent international organization, uniting the leading scientists, bankers, entrepreneurs and economic practitioners of the world.
Versatile activities of the Union contribute to economic progress in many countries of the world, promote the sharing of information, best business practices and experience of holding reforms, therefore improving the living standards of people and societies.
The active efforts, carried out by the Union in the nooks and corners of our planet, makes it possible to focus the attention of governments and business circles on the most vital problems of global development, including the ones in the fields of economic and food security, energy and climate change, promoting access to education, popularizing economic science and stimulating integration and regional cooperation.
The creative activities of the International Union of Economists have led to establishment of similar organizations in many countries of the world, including the Republic of Kazakhstan.
Kazakh academic economists take an active part in the Union’s activities and the events it organizes, being the members of the IUE’s Coordination Council. These joint efforts and cooperation have borne fruit in the form of working out the concept and ideas for G-Global, a communication platform intended for discussing the global problems of mankind.
We are grateful to the International Union of Economists for assistance in establishing Eurasian Economic Club of Scientists Association that was created in 2008 on the initiative of President N.A. Nazarbayev.
We hope that this active cooperation, fruitful and mutually beneficial relations between the International Union of Economists and Kazakh institutions will make good headway in the future.
Let me wish success to the International Union of Economists and all of its members, as well as new achievements for the benefit of economic science development, socio-economic progress, peace and well-being of the entire global community.
