Dear friends!
On behalf of the Public Chamber of the Russian Federation, let me congratulate you with this momentous jubilee – the 25th anniversary of the organization’s activities!
The International Union of Economists (IUE) was founded in 1991, which was a troubled year, by economic scientists and practitioners, bankers and entrepreneurs from various countries of the world for the purpose of promoting global economic and social progress.
One can hardly overestimate the importance of your organization’s multifaceted work, as the IUE in involved in a tremendous specter of research activities, devoted to many relevant problems of economic development, making notable contribution to the cause of strengthening international ties, economic, scientific and cultural relations.
The annual meetings of the IUE are attended by leading scientists, experts, representatives of state structures and business circles from different countries, as well as members of various national and international economic organizations, and, therefore, turn into milestone events for the global economic community.
The Public Chamber of the Russian Federation appreciates the high rate of IUE’s activity on the international arena that allows it to enhance the opportunities in relation to the use of public diplomacy and “soft power” mechanisms for solving geopolitical, geo-economic and geo-cultural problems. We are ready for further structural interaction with the IUE for the benefit of world community. I expect the scientific and business ties between the International Union of Economists and the Public Chamber to become even stronger in the future.
